Marshall Romney Endowed Scholarship

For 40 years Marshall Romney taught and oversaw the education of students in the School of Accountancy and, later, in the Information Systems Department. Chances are you took a class from him, know someone who did, or benefited from his years as the Information Systems Department chair. Through his influence, his legacy now reaches across the United States and throughout the world.

“What I would like to be remembered for,” Marshall recently said, “was that I was a cheerleader on the sidelines helping the faculty and students to do well….I’ve enjoyed the journey and hope they continue onward and upward.”

We have created an endowed fund in Marshall’s name to honor his legacy. Just as Marshall has shown us an example of sacrifice and selfless dedication, you can bless the Marriott School and the master of information systems management program through charitable donations. BYU has recently made the process of donating to this endowment accessible online. This can be achieved by following the link below:

You can make a difference now by giving to the Marshall Romney Endowed Scholarship or to the Information Systems Department that Marshall worked so tirelessly to build. Your gift will bless the students he deeply cares about. On behalf of Marshall, the department, and the many students who will benefit, thank you for your decision to give.
