Eric Rea, member of the BYU Information Systems Advisory Board, is the Cofounder and CEO of Podium, a leading customer interaction platform which helps modernize the way businesses are found and chosen through improved customer communication and online reviews. Rea, a software engineer in his own right, lived in Vienna, Austria and worked for the International Atomic Energy Agency before co-founding Podium in 2014 and taking the company through Y Combinator in 2016 – becoming one of the highest revenue generating companies ever to attend the accelerator. He has also secured funding from IVP, Accel, GV (formerly Google Ventures) and Summit Partners. In his free time, Rea enjoys shoes, technology, and spending time with his wife, Kimmi, and daughter, Goldie.
